Believe in The Secret
The secret in essence teachers us that if we want something and we can visualise it the universe will give it to us. Well that is correct to a point.
The reality is if you want something you have to work for it. If you have a goal you are working towards then it gives working meaning and purpose. When work has meaning and purpose it is more pleasurable.
This way you can be working in a job you are not entirely happy doing, but as you have found a reason to do it you can feel fulfilled.
That however doesn’t work for everyone and working in a job you are not happy with calls for change. This is where self -belief becomes a powerful tool. Some of us naturally ooze self -belief while others struggle.
We look in awe at those who have the self-belief and the drive to create massive change in their life and to us they appear to do this effortlessly and we are left wondering why we can’t make the changes ourselves.
The reason is the beliefs you have established within your subconscious and that is what is stopping you from change. Over your life time you have seen and heard many things which your subconscious stores and then creates safe boundaries for you.
So often to create change you need to step out of your comfort zone and as much as you know you need to do this your subconscious either stops you from doing it or allows you to take a small step out and then quickly brings you back in,
So to make changes in our life we often need to work on our subconscious first. One way to do this is through the use of hypnosis. Hypnosis works by giving instructions to the subconscious to make the changes that you want in your life.
Depending on what the change is it can work in the first session, but more often than not it takes time. Some clients think that hypnosis hasn’t work, but then months after treatment realise that the changes have slowly been taking place.
So giving powerful suggestions to your subconscious during a session is essential. So before undertaking a session you need to get really clear on your goals and convey them to your therapist so that you can achieve the most beneficial outcome.
A good therapist will take the time to discuss not only the outcome you want but why you want it to tailor a session to suit you.
To your Success!
